Chemspec Latin America has been postponed until the third quarter 2010.

When the decision was taken to organise a second CSLA event the world was a very different place economically and the current downturn has affected booth sales. Although we do have sufficient traction to host a show our feeling is that it would not be to the size and standard expected of Chemspec by our exhibitors and visitors. In addition to the global situation the local Mexico economy has suffered greatly as it relies heavily on a buoyant US market.

The decision does not indicate a lack of future interest in the Latin America market to which we remain committed however the timing is simply not right for 2009. It is our intention to host an event in the third quarter of 2010 when hopefully we are witnessing an improvement in the economy however we will not be in a position to confirm this until later this year.
